Product Description
SFI 38.1 head and neck restraints must be recertified every 5 years to maintain SFI certification.
All devices that pass inspection will receive a new SFI 38.1 conformance sticker marked with the inspection date.
The recertification will remain valid for 5 years.
ARE YOU DUE?
If your device was certified in May 2014 or earlier, it’s due for recertification by June 1, 2019.
Please note most devices will require a Level 2 recertification.
Harnesses will be stress tested for failures and the correct parts replaced.
Please be aware the level you order may not be the level you receive and an additional amount may due.
Levels
Level 1: Inspection, replace SFI tag
Level 2: Inspection, replace SFI tag, replace rubber shoulders
Level 3: Inspection, replace SFI tag, replace rubber shoulders and tether system
Level 4: Inspection, replace SFI tag, replace rubber shoulders, tether system and harness
